Allow us introduce ourselves,
We are the Edgewood Garden Club
Our small-town band of plant-lovers was started on January 28th of 1933, and quickly joined the Rhode Island Federation exactly one year later in 1934. Our crew is welcoming and warm, sharing our love of all things nature with each other and using our community work to help brighten the Edgewood community, we work to improve our neighborhood and have fun doing it! EGC maintains gardens at William Hall Library, Stillhouse Cove, the Village Playground on Commercial Street in Cranston. Members lend time and expertise to local projects.

We work closely with the Rhode Island Federation of Garden Clubs to improve the Ocean State’s environment. Edgewood Garden Club promotes gardening interests through education, networking, avocation of plant cultivation, floral design, environmental stewardship, and civic beautification. Its membership draws mostly from the Edgewood, Pawtuxet Village, Garden City and Gaspee Plateau neighborhoods of Cranston and Warwick. We are more than 70 women and men strong, representing a wide range of ages and backgrounds. The Edgewood Garden Club is a proud member of the National Garden Clubs, the New England Region Garden Clubs, and the Rhode Island Federation of Garden Clubs.
